???
As far as i can remember there is no cap at all.
If you get one made.... i did not have a CX but a GFR and the cap will also fit there.
So, depending on the price, i would like to have 1 or 2 ;)

BTW german forum member Bjoern has done a 3D sketch of the CX wheel hub cover plate.
It can be printed on a 3D printer.
As far as i remember there is still a minor problem with the litte 'snap in noses' If anyone is interested...

ciao Joachim

That is a sad, sad story, Weed. My deepest empathy to you and best wishes. You are certainly on my list regarding found or created CX objects. you have been very helpful, thank you. It's easily understood why.
I need to look @ the drawings again, but with the 30mm nut off the rear axle and the caliper dropped from the brake disc can the axle, w/wheel mounting flange, be tapped out of the bearing carrier?

BTW: I live in the US. I have 3 Scots, 2 Brits (Lands End), 1 Netherlander (Kampen), and 4 Americans coming for deep fried turkey and various side dishes later today. It may rain a bit. We need rain. Good fortune, R3~

Joachim,
I'm interested in a repro dust cover for the rear axle. There are a few questions such as material, fit, finish and cost. Will it pass for original? Whatever that looks like. R3~

I have the rear axle R3, just a bit of brut force & ignorance. I have plenty of the latter.
I hope that getting a new rear axle or good second hand one will not be to much of an issue, & I will work through the rest of the issues.
It sounds as if you are having a league of nations day R#, I hope you all have a great day. I am from Perth in Australia
Cheers

Joachim,
I was just reading on the other active CX thread that Paul has been waiting 13 months for parts supply from the British dealer. Are there any suppliers of CX parts (frame / engine) that you can direct me to in mainland Europe?
Ciao
