Heya i bought a Crono a few weeks ago with a faulty gearbox, since then i have stripped the bike and am getting it ready for a sandblast then powder coat. I am looking for a replacement engine so while i have the old engine out i have decided to tidy the bike up as i go. I am planning to get the plastics fixed and painted as well. I am looking to replace a few of the components to as things like the reg/rec, rear caliper need replacing. I will take a few pics of the bike as it stands now and will update the post with my progress. I also have a single swingarm from the af1 50 that i was thinking about using but i will have to check measurements first.

Hi Scott and welcome. Look forward to seeing pics of your Crono 'as is' and later when it's back on the road. Can't help with a CX (much rarer than hens teeth) but you never know, so fingers crossed. Paul

to be honest the main part from the cx i wanted was the single arm forks, the rest of the bike would be a bonus. i'm trying to load pics but can't figure out how to make them smaller in size and dimension

I use the Fireworks program for re-sizing pictures as it operates in pixels. Most other programs will allow re-sizing but usualy state sizes in inches or mm which doesn't help if you want to restrict by pixel size. Keep track of all the bits Scott. My Morini looked a bit like that a few months ago and when I came to put it all back together there were a couple of parts that had gone missing. They are probably buried at the back of the shed somewhere behind GFR#1. I can't sell you the engine from that because I've promised the bike to my lad when he's old enough.
