It was me who won it for £1,275

As discussed they just don't come for sale very often this is the only one i have seen ever. I thought it would have gone for more to be honest ?

Anyway going to collect it tomorrow,this will make it 5 Gilera's in the collection 2 GFR 125, 1 Crono 125 , 1 MXR 125.

I suspect a complete set of intact plastics for a CX may be worth that alone.

Good score, bike looked in fair nick.

You'd better post plenty photos of it getting refurbed.

Well i collected the bike, a 400 mile around trip, but it was worth it.

The bike is very un-molested example only 3 owners. The guy who had it on E bay told me his Dad brought it in 2008 but unfortunately passed away not long after and it has been dry stored in the garage ever since. From what i know the previous owner brought it in 1998 but again did not use it.

Like i said the bike is in very good condition, no chewed up bolts, no bodge jobs, no make "do" repairs.

Not sure which way to go with this one as i feel it is to good to strip and do a nut and bolt restoration, going to start by stripping and giving it a good clean, then replace all the fluids Brake, Transmission, Coolant, 2T oil Fuel etc and get the bike running.

Here are some photos

Out of interest what mileage has it covered?

I'm not surprised the plastics crack easily, there is a lot of them and they provide the only support for that not so light head light unit. If I get mine back on the road I'll take the head light off and run it on a daylight only MOT.

The plastics are very good to be honest, the mileage is 7653KM = 4755 miles which is not a lot !
